Richard P. Martin
Richard P. Martin has been practicing law for 29 years. Born and raised in Stow, he graduated from Stow High School in 1966. After spending four years in the United States Army he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Akron in 1974. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Akron in 1977. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Akron Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, American Trial Lawyers Association, Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers, Summit County Association for Justice and the Portage County Bar Association. He is the President of Richard P. Martin Co., L.P.A., Properties Partners Management, Inc., and Martrex Investments, Inc. He is the former membership chairman for the Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Hudson Rotary Club, Silver Lake Country Club, The Crew’s Nest, and the Great Lakes Cruising Club. With his lovely wife Barbara he enjoys reading, traveling, sports car cruising and boating on the Great Lakes.
David C. Perduk
David C. Perduk is of counsel to Richard P. Martin Co., L.P.A. He graduated from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1996. Since that time, he has handled a wide ranging caseload. He participates in areas such as: Plaintiff's Litigation, Trial Work, Bankruptcy, Domestic Relations, Estate Planning, Trusts and other General Litigation matters. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Association Of Trial Lawyers Of America, and the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers.
Jennifer L. Hamey
Jennifer L. Hamey brings over ten years of intensive Northeastern Ohio law experience to Richard P. Martin Co. L.P.A. Jennifer worked in a law practice and managed multiple rental properties while completing her Associates degree and certification as a paralegal. She continued working as a paralegal while obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Akron. Jennifer subsequently attended law school at the University of Akron all the while gaining valuable experience in the area courts and assisting in the representation of hundreds of clients within the local counties. Jennifer received her Juris Doctorate law degree in May of 2006. Her primary areas of focus are Workers' Compensation, Bankruptcy and Estate Planning. Jennifer is a member of the Akron and Ohio State Bar Associations. She is a member of the Stow/Munroe Falls area Chamber of Commerce. Jennifer can also be found in the Who’s Who business Association. Jennifer is in constant demand by local organizations for the coordination of and the participation in numerous and eclectic community based events. Jennifer was born and raised in Northeast Ohio and with all of her family in the area, Jennifer has made her home in Wadsworth. Jennifer has a genuine love for the communities in which she serves and displays an unequaled passion in the representation of her clients. Jennifer spends her personal time with her son. She tries to take some time out to participate in and instruct her secret joy; Ballroom Dancing. Jennifer enjoys travelling and when time (and N.E. Ohio weather) permits; you may just find her on one of the local golf courses!
